Today I will Talk about one of my teachers  I’ve had in the past it is Teleise. She is one of my favourite teachers I had she is fun relatable and entertaining she is a perfect teacher I loved having her as my teacher she was a great and wonderful teacher to younger me I was a year 3 when she joined and now it has been 3 years since I have met her. She could teach you anything and everything with laughter fun and seriousness. We would do huge fun activities I would be jumping around instead of grumpy. She is a great person and I love her because of the way she is. Thank you Teleise for being a super teacher!

Our Material World is all about Materials we could have There are many materials in our world such as Stone metal fabric and much more. Materials are interesting because there are many types. Perhaps you wanted to know what materials there are in a kitchen well there is a huge amount because there are many types of things that have materials and the materials I do know are clay metal wood ceramic silicone and glass.

Physical changes and chemical changes are cool too. Physical changes are when you change a material but is still the same as before but just a little bit different such as cutting paper and mowing the lawn and freezing items and breaking glass. Chemical changes are when you change something that you can’t undo like Baking a cake or mixing to different colors.

Is drawing on paper with a permanent marker a chemical change or a physical change?

How many materials do we have in our clothes?

Math is one of my favourite subjects and now I get to tell you what I would normally do for maths. Math is fun so when we do maths we would do our basic facts 3 times we are now 12 time tables for our basic facts. We are also learning about volume and capacity.

Volume is the space something takes up. It’s measured in cube.

Capacity Is the amount that can be poured into something . We would use Litres And millilitres.

What are your two favourite writing masterpieces? My favourite writing work is one I have done with Ben this week and one with Peta I had done last term. The one I have done with Ben is one called emotions. It is about what I do when I feel an emotion. And the one I have done with Peta is all about me and what I act and what I like doing.

Emotions. Emotions are all about how you feel and how you are like. Anger is one of the emotions we feel if we get annoyed or mad at. And Happiness is how you feel if you’re excited or if you just feel awesome. sadness is also a bad feeling because it makes you gloomy and sad. But what we had to do with this work is we had to write about what makes us angry and what we should do if we’re angry happy or sad. And once we have done that we would have to go on Google and try and find a creative photo to go with the text.

How do you feel most of the time?

All about me. All about me I had to talk about what I would do most of my free time. I liked this Work because I liked how to show my personality and how I act and what I would do in my free time. I liked this as well because it was so fun I had to tell how I feel most of my time and what I do.

What are your two favourite things about reading? My Two favourite reading Tasks I have been getting these two terms (Term 1 & Term 2) are probably my Kokako Reading slides are 1 and another of them might be my reading response.

Our Slides we had to do for reading is all about how to drink a rose. This was an article from Jill MacGregor it was in the school journal we all read the article first and the next day we went to do the slides! The slides were so easy but kind of hard. I like talking about this article it was so cool and facsinating Because we Learnt how to drink a rose and how to make yummy treats with a rose.

What would you want to make with a rose?

My Favourite Reading response was probably the one that I had made for Ki O Rahi I had enjoyed talking about that because The backstory of the game Ki O Rahi was so interesting and shocking I like playing the game to it is so funny and hard to play but I like reading response because i had many words in my mind I wanted to use because I was so fascinated from that story.

Our school has been going to the Massey park pools to learn how to swim and i learnt loads on how to do tricks one of them had you to go in a huddle if theirs others near by ad the you put your arms beside the two people your near and then kick inside of the water so if people can see us.

now i’m going to tell you one of my favorite parts when we are on the deep end of the pools we climb up on a ladder and we all had to jump off  but you couldn’t bomb you had to wrap your arms around your body and then you jump off and it was really fun and when you gt up you had to flat on your back and go on the

Mango Lassi, 2-3 Weeks ago Our teacher grabbed a handful of people to show us something. We all sat by the table and she talked about how food has chemical and physical changes She made a dessert with yogurt and Mango Puree She puts both into a cup and she gave us a spork to mix it around we mixed for like a few minutes and once we done that we had to eat it when i tried it it tasted funny but delicious it was sweet and very cold i liked it because of the two that had been mixed and because it was mixed you could not reverse it to seperated and the colour change so out of physical and chemical changes it was a chemical change because once it was made you could not change it back.

Reading Task, Our Reading task was in a School journal. The Journal was called Connected 1 2006.  In the Journal We had to read an Article  It was Called How to Drink a rose. Today our school is celebrating Pink Shirt Day, I went in many pink things because we were allowed to bring anything that is pink. I have a huge squishy octopus hat, A little small pink ring, A Pink Shirt, and a pin from my aunties memorial. When I walked into school I saw many people Wearing pink I was relifed about that, I saw my friends in pink and others in pink and their pink oufits are really impressive. When we got to class we had to make a pink shirt blog and I am doing this Right Now. Pink shirt day meaning is for anti-Bullying the meaning of this is to stop people from being rude and mean. And the pink shirt day will always be on the 3rd Friday of may. By Kas 16.05.25 Friday.
